A typical 8–11 kW ASHP installed in a 3-bed home costs £9,500–£14,500 before grant. The Boiler Upgrade Scheme offers £7,500 off for eligible homes - bringing net cost to £2,000–£7,000.
Will a heat pump really save me money?+
In a properly insulated home with the right design, yes - typical annual savings vs gas are £200–£600. In a poorly insulated home, expect to insulate first.
Are heat pumps noisy?+
